From Denver to Fizi

[simplemaps]

Since 2014, Makimbilio has been organizing in Denver, Colorado USA and Fizi District, DRC through four phases: design, implementation, delivery of measurable outcomes, and extension of gains and growth. This is our Four Pillars Community Development Project we are preparing for the 28 principal villages of Fiz, DRC.

Phase I designs and develops four  essential assets:

  • long-range investment and partnership with international organizations to fund and implement the initiative;
  • a replicable basket of micro-strategies including education, healthcare, finance and market opportunities,
  • a replicable, train-the-trainer educational method in self mastery and social emotional health, trade-specific skills and market economics, and
  • a global network for communications, logistics and program implementation within the local population.

Phase II implements the Phase I strategic assets within the global network to establish:

  • trained development teams on the ground in the 28 principal villages of Fizi;
  • the physical infrastructure of Makimbilio in a regional center, and
  • a stable cycle of education, finance and economic growth.

Phase III delivers realized, analyzed and reported:

  • measurable economic gains, and
  • measurable cultural improvements originated by the people of Fizi at Makimbilio and in the 28 principal villages throughout Fizi District.

Phase IV takes the empirically gained experience and success Makimbilio and extends a peer-led expansion of the spirit, ethics and economy of the initiative throughout Eastern Africa.
